I have a combination application consisting of Access (data and VBA code) and MapInfo/MapBasic that I want to distribute, but it seems that Access 2003 has an increased level of security and it balks at loading databases that contain code modules. (It displays a warning to the user that makes the user wonder what sort of virus my software is about to unleash on their pristine machine.) I don't want my software to scare potential customers, so I need to find a way to stop Access from issuing dire threats when it starts to run my software.
I've heard that you can supply a digital certificate with your application that takes care of this, but I don't know anything about how to set one of these up. A quick search on Google didn't turn up anything about this, but maybe I don't know what to search for. Does anyone know anything about this? - Bill Thoen --------------------------------------------------------------------- List hosting provided by Directions Magazine | www.directionsmag.com | To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Message number: 17778
