More or less. I had the most recent version of VM (3.1) installed but
I am using MI 7 so I overlooked the only tested on MI 8 part.
However, the download indicates MI7 should be good:
-----
Vertical Mapper 3.1.1.002
Download the latest maintenance release for Vertical Mapper v3.1.1
that supports MapInfo Professional v7.0 and above. Including the
latest version of MapInfo Professional v8.0.
------
I never got to determine if VM3.1.1 would work, the installation
attempt only threw out 3.1 but didn't install the new version. The
installation appeared to go smoothly, no errors reported, until I
restarted MI which reported during start up that VM was missing.
So far the only suggestion seems to be to uninstall MI and start from scratch.
Thanks for the respones,
Declan
However, my issue now is that I am unable to reinstall VM3 (or 2.6 for
that matter) after the attempt with 3.1.1.
