I need to convert some viewshed classified grids (GRC) to numeric grids (GRD) to be able to do some math operations on then.
Any easy way ? Need to do a GRC to GRD conversion (the text attribute of the GRC is a number in text format...). Right now I am converting GRC to vector points, changing the text column to a number format and interpolating to GRD. Which is a time consuming and trivial method. There would be no problem if one could set a custom height for every tower in a multiple viewshed. But this is not possible.... (...Hope that MI Corp. takes the future of VM serious since it will run to a quick death when "MapInfo.NET" arrives and third party .NET raster API can be used instead with some adaptation.)
