MI-L License Key

Hi all,   I have some troubles to install the License Key in my Mapinfo Professional 7.8. The trial period has expired then I obtained a permanent License. When I try to install the License File MapInfo shows me a message error like this: Enable to install permanent license. In other hand, when I use the License Key MapInfo shows me another message error that says: MapInfo Professional for Windows has detected a problem and must be close it.           I’m  using Windows XP with Service Pack 2, the operative system and Mapinfo are in Spanish.               Someone knows if XP has any kind of problems to work with this MapInfo’s version?.
