I received a set of map data in TAB format. Since I only have ArcGIS 9.0
which can only import MIF file format, I'd appreciate anyone who uses
MapInfo could help me to export these TAB files into MIF format? Or if you
know other methods that I can use to import these data into ArcGIS, it
will
be great too!
You can either use the MITAB application for converting them to MIF format:

Or use the bigger ogr2ogr application for going straight to SHP files:
