The ESRI website has free, easy to download Census datasets in SHP file
format. You'll just need to translate the data to a MapInfo format.

Hello All!
I am new to MapInfo and I have a question.
I am trying to get demographic information for census tracts at the county
level and I am having
a really difficult time.
I have been to the Census website and other sources to get a table for
demographic information on a county level, but with no success. Does
anyone
1) Know where I can get this information (for free) and 2) know how to
import this info
into MapInfo and link it to the current census tract map/data I have?
