Per,
This error usually occurs if you do not have the Oracle client
installed.
This error can also occur when MapInfo can not find the Oracle
installation, for example, if
Oracle has recently been upgraded. To determine where the Oracle
installation is MapInfo checks the PATH environment variable (Control
Panel > System > Advanced > Environment Variables).
Ensure the first path listed is that of your Oracle installation.

Subject: MI-L Error message at start up
Hello all
I receive an annoying error message each time that I start MapInfo. The
following message turns up "\mapinfo.mnu:1132 MapInfo Database
driver failed to load. C:\Program\MapInfo\Professional\MIDLOCI.DLL or
dependent drivers not found."
I have checked and the DLL file exists and in the right folder. I have
tried to re install (repair) MapInfo without success. Does anybody have
any idea of what to do next?
Regards
PG
