Thanks to Peter for a very good atempt at using Mapbasic at startup to access a specific cursor library to use for digitizing. We found that doesn't quite work, at least not witout quite a bit more hacking with syntax.
The only other alternative could possible cause serious problems with Mapinfo's stability so I want get into them here. I guess this is something one will have to live with until an upgrade can be afforded. This is nothing new, digiziting over grayscale digital orthos and you loose the digitizing crosshair! Well, not necessarily loose it but after a while it becomes very annoying and creates eyestrain, everybody understands that... Has anyone found a way to change the crosshair to a more visible object? Changing pointers in mouse properties doesn't seem to change anything, Mapinfo Preferences doesn't seem to allow changing this. I'm hoping maybe through Mapbasic or something???
