As I recall this relates to a problem with too many nodes in the coversion to pdf. If you dive into the archives you should be able to find the details.
You may have to find a simpler hydrology layer, thin the nodes, separate water types into multiple layers, change the bounds of your map, or some other variation on reducing the number of nodes.
