Here is a brain teaser ...for me at least!

I have a base layer of an aerial photo, with subsequent layers of boundary
and data points. The boundary is roughly square with one edge cut
off...sorta the shape of Nevada state. When I make a thematic map based on
the data points, all is well... however a corner of the thematic does not
reach to the boundary. When I stretch the thematic via Settings> Grid Border
to include that portion of the boundary, the whole mapper gets squished
vertically. All the layers are in the same projection with the aerial loaded
first. MI7.8 and Win2000.

This also happened in 5.0 bit infrequently. Do I need to add a dummy point?
or is there something I am missing?? Thanks in advance...tom
