The Wacom Intuos was recently discussed about a month or two ago. Search
the archive for message subject: "On-screen digitiser for MapInfo" by Data
Directions. A very good review of the product.

Subject: [MI-L] wacom graphire or intuos pens

Has anyone every tried to replace some of the mouse activity associated with
digitizing with one of these new pen tablets made by Wacom. They seem to
range in price from $120.00 CAD Graphire to $530.00 for the top end Intuos
where it acts like an air brush painting system.

I am trying to cut down on the mouse ache as sometimes I have to do an
intensive amount of digitizing for certain types of projects our company
specializes in. I do have a small digitizing tablet I could use but I can't
be bothered.

Wacom doesn't seem to say if it is directly compatible in the MapInfo
environment; does anyone know or have purchased one of these new pens?

Thanks, Erica.
