For a more automated way can you create a thematic map? Go to Map>Create Thematic Map, then select the ranges option on the left. On the list that pops up there should be one called "Point ranges - Varying Size". You should then be able to select the table that the postcades are in and the column that the sizes are in. If you need to change the ranges or colours or sizes there are option available in the modify thematic dialog.

I have gotten the map with the dots in the zip codes where there are shipments, but I need to indicate larger shipments with larger dots and smaller shipments with smaller dots.
