Hi Uffe,

I frequently find mails from MI-L (and other mailing lists) in my "spam
box", i.e. mails tagged by mistake by my mail scanner as spam. Fortunately I
have the option to "educate" my mail scanner.

As more and more ISP deploy questionable and non-configurable mail scanner
software, typically with no options for retrieving blocked mails, lost mail
is an increasing problem, imho.

It may be the source of your problem.

I've also seen the curious delays Peter Møller talks about, by that's mostly
only irritating, not a real problem.

Strangely enough, after switching from Outlook Express to Thunderbird, I now
have multiple mails dated 1/1/70 or some other dubious time stamp pop up ?!
Talk about delay there ;-)

Best regards / Med venlig hilsen

Subject: [MI-L] MI-L List problems

Do anybody else but me only receive some of the e-mails sent to the list?

As an example I can right now see 5 e-mails here:
http://www.directionsmag.com/pipermail/mapinfo-l/2006-January/date.html

But I have only received the 4 e-mails that can be seen here:
http://lists.directionsmag.com/discussion/list.php?f=7

This is the missing one from Alistair Hart:
http://www.directionsmag.com/pipermail/mapinfo-l/2006-January/000611.html

Missing 1 out of 5 matches very well what I saw last time I checked this
back in early December 2005 (based on many more e-mails) and I have also
seen my own replies to the list not appearing.

Regards
Uffe
