I've recently added raster images which are set at 60% transparency so,
a thematic can be shown threw the raster. Everything seemed fine until
I tried to create a dot density thematic on top of a shaded thematic
using the same table. When creating the dot density, my map view turns
very light in color. I tried turning off the new dot density thematic
and then turned it back on and presto, the shaded and dot density
thematic is showing correctly through the raster images. Any idea why
the dot density might first make the view color very light?

thanks for any help.
