In our office our techs are starting to deploy new laptops to our Police and Fire personal. In the past I have been able to add code to the workspaces that would change the default find symbol to something other than the small gray star. In MI Pro 8 there is a new feature to allows the user to change the default star to something else.
My problem is that with Proviewer 8 the code in my workspace no longer works and the gray star used. When I go in and change it to something else and do a find it keeps the new find symbol for the first find, but then defaults back to the gray star when you do another find. This seems to only occur if only Proviewer is loaded onto the machine. It does not occur if both Pro and Proviewer are loaded. Has anybody else have this problem or know of a workaround?
