Queries are only stored if they are created as a SQL selection - not manual
selections.

Hi Everyone
I am trying to save the results of a query to a workspace but MapInfo
is not doing this despite having the "Save Queries In Workspaces" Option
in the startup Preferences selected.
So for example:
I open a table of species locations
Select 5 records
Add this selection to a map as a new layer (MapInfo calls this layer
Query1) with a new symbology
Save a workspace.
The problems is when I reopen the Workspace the layer containing the 5
selected records is missing.
Any ideas? Is this a known bug and if it is Does the current patch fix
it?
