Listers,

Just thought I'd take a minute to share my findings thus far (never heard
back from [EMAIL PROTECTED] ) --

As stated in the docs MM Canada shoud be installed second. I don't know if it
was necessary (doubt it) but I followed the instructions about mm_serve
-delete, mm_serve -install in the document below (old release notes) and it
hasn't had any negative effect anyway...

I did find current release notes at www.mapinfo.com/publications -- should
have been obvious :-) anyway, may be a good link for this audience to bookmark
if you haven't already.

I did struggle for at least an hour assuming the full six char postal code
should go in the zip/postal field... before realizing Canada MM is expecting
only the first three char's. (you can get lookup tables with the full six
postal code char's and lat/lon's to fall back if the address does not match).

In my current understanding, one of my biggest hurdles was realizing that the
VBScript/MapX OCX implementation I was hacking at doesn't expose the
GetPostalCentroid() function. (??) I was expecting it to work.

Any more or related insights appreciated.. I will flesh all this out on the
Wiki as a mini-FAQ http://www.mapinfo-l.com/Wiki

This is the most information I have found --
section "MapMarker Plus USA 9.1" in
http://extranet.mapinfo.com/common/docs/mapmarker/mapmakerplus6cdn_releasenotes.pdf
However, I have MapMarker Canada 6.3.1 and MM USA 10.2. I cannot find a release
notes for MM Canada 6.3.
Do these older notes still apply?
Thanks!
Eric

Can I use MapMarker US and Canada on the same server for an ASP/VBScript
application? I have an existing working app with MapMarker US and want to add
Canada.

I installed MapMarker Canada with the product integration option so that the
products are integrated to geocode US and Canadian addresses. However, when I
do a Quick Find in the MapMarker Canada interface it doesn't find US.
addresses. What exactly got integrated?

Any insights appreciated.
Thanks,
Eric
