This sounds one of two possible issues,
1) make sure the table you wish to search has the appropriate column
"Indexed". To check this, view the table structure for the table in
questions and make sure the check box for "Index" is checked for your search
column.

2) If the above is not the issue, it is likely that a separate MBX is
running which has disabled  the Ctrl+F key sequence command.

Hello All,

 

I have a strange but I assume simple problem. I have mapped table of
postcodes and I want to use the find function (ctrl F) to search for
postcodes but it is greyed out and not working, cann't understand it -
the layer is selectable. Any ideas???
