Hi Leigh If you're using one of the latter versions of MI Pro you should find a "Distance Calculator" tool in the Tool Manager. This will allow you to develop a table which will contain the distance from one point file to the other.
A simple SQL query should then allow you to select only those records from the results that meet your parameters. Hope this makes sense and is of assistance.
