Hi folks, I'd be grateful for some help with this. In MapBasic 6, I want to Register an Excel .XLS table and open it as a MapInfo table. The snag is that in this application, the user wants to select the table name and path. When opening a MapInfo native table you can use the Interactive command that allows you to browse for the file you want, but this isn't available when Registering an .XLS - you have to hard code the name and path. Is there a way round this?
