Hello Petr,
I have two clarifications to ask:
1. Do you mean you have paper
maps you are trying to scan/display
in MapInfo, or you have data layers in an
Oblique Mercator coordinate system and you
need to reproject it to another system handled
by MapInfo?
2. Are you referring to the Michigan
GeoRef coordinate system? If so, it
is not predefined as a coordinate system
in MapInfo. To use that system within
MI, you will need to add it to the Mapinfo.prj
file. There was a posting from a few
years ago (http://spatialnews.geocomm.com/community/lists/viewmessage.phtml?id=23750)
that lists the needed entry as:
"Michigan GeoRef",
7, 74, 7, -86, 45.3091666666, 337.25556,
.99960,
2546731.496, -4354009.816 If you could clarify
a little, I'm sure someone can help you out.

Subject: [MI-L] Oblique Mercator
Projection
Hello,
I
have some Michigan maps in Oblique Mercator
Projection. Does somebody know how to convert
them to MI format?
Any
help would be greatly appreciated.
