Hi all,
I've combined some pre-existing boundaries to create new ones and in some areas I needed to split the pre-existing boundaries up a little bit. My problem is that to do this I created a new object in the cosmetic layer and used Set Target, selected the object and added or subtracted the region to my boundaries. However in doing this the object on the cosmetic layer did not snap exactly to the pre-existing boundaries and I'm now left with line segments in the middle of some of my boundaries.
To delete these I've tried erasing the line nodes, disaggregating the boundary into regions, mutlipolylines etc. and then erasing the nodes, and creating an object to overlay the unwanted line segments and then erase using Set Target. However none of these things has worked. Does anyone have any ideas? Is it easy to go into the workspace and find objects that are associated with particular boundaries? Any advise would be appreciated thanks!
Christine
