Hi James
If I understand your question correctly, it might
be easier to choose the "One buffer for all objects" option when creating the
buffers as this effectively joins any overlapping buffers to form one
object.
Otherwise, after the event (if you've gone with the
"one buffer for each object" option"), you can make the table editable, select
all the objects using a query or graphically, and then use the "Combine"
function under the "Objects" menu.
