Hello all,

I hope this is the correct place to do this - if not please forgive.

I am somewhat new to MapInfo.  I work for a Cellular service provider.

I would like to be able to use MapBasic or Visual Basic to create representations of cellular antenna sectors in MapInfo.

The data provided would be:  ??    Most sites have 3 sectors - so three azimuths
                                                    Example
Longitude                                   -91.2166667
Latitude                                       44.7944444
Azimuth(s)                                   90 , 120,  245
Beam width of antenna(s)         78,  60,   78

The sectors would look like a part of a pie   So first antenna above would be 78 degrees of the whole 360 pie shape. (I'm sure you know that)

I suppose I also need some way of setting the size of the sectors.  I'd like to make all Alpha sectors Red, Beta sec. Blue and Gamma sectors Green.
I'd also like to be able to label the sectors with various info that would also be in the file.  (PN, Name, Site number, # of CXR's, etc)

I have no clue at all how to do this using either MapBasic or Visual Basic.  However, I do have a very good back ground in Visual Basic Professional 6.0
(NOT VB.NET)

I'd like to list all data in a csv file to be read and created in MapInfo.

Can anyone help me?

Thank you so much.
