Could you not handle the error (420)? I suspect this may be a poor way of doing it.

Someone please tell/remind me how to tell if a certain table, that you might want to open, is already open, so you don't get a table already open error.
 
Been looking for the likes of an OPEN() function or something on TableInfo() but I can't find it.
