Does anyone have a good recommendation on how to calculate the Population Served by a particular Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) or Major Trading Area/Business Trading Area (MTA/BTA) - using the latest U.S. Census Data? I would guess that you could import the MSA and MTA/BTAs into MapInfo as polygons and then follow that up with importing Census Data and seeing what is contained within each polygon? Which Census Data product would be the best one to use that provides the latest population figures. I am guessing that the MSA and MTAs/BTAs have not changed much in the past few years? Best regards,
