Me again...
Have given up on using Spatialware to update one of my data layers and now attempting to stay within the MapInfo environment...
Can someone explain why when I issue the following MapBasic command, records that don't match the "where" criteria are being violated ?
Add Column "property" (Heritage )From State_heritage Set To "State" Where within
From issuing the above, I was expecting that ONLY Property Polygon Records that have a Heritage Point Record within them would have the field heritage set to "State" but am finding that all the other Property records are having their heritage fields reset to null
