Hi all I am trying to test Oracle XE with MapInfo and I seem to be running into some problems.
I have loaded the TAB file into Oracle XE with Easyloader, no problems here. I have checked the geometry with another GIS and it is all good. I have also had a look at the Mapcatalog table, and the entries seem to register fine in there. I go into the DBMS tools, use an Oracle Spatial Connection, and enter the username, password, server and the tables I want show up. Then I select a table and go Download Data (Linked Table) and I get the error "Oracle Error: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist." I then try a live link (cached) and I get the error "Oracle Error: ORA-06550: line 1, column 7: PLS-00201:identifier 'DBMS_WM.GOTOWORKSPACE' must be declared ORA-06550: line 1, column 7: PL/SQL; Statement ignored. Unable to open Table Testoracle." I have tried using a few different tables, all with the same results. Any ideas on how to view these tables in MI v8.0?
