Title: U.S. City Boundary Files

Try the urban area polygons (over 6,000) at http://www.nationalatlas.gov/atlasftp.html?openChapters=%2Cchpbound%2Cchpref#chpref.  The cities and town is only a point file.

Subject: [MI-L] U.S. City Boundary Files

Hi All,

Would anyone have an idea as to where one might download boundary files for U.S. cities - I found .shp and .e00 files for Census 2000 Consolidated Cities (Cartographic Boundary Files): http://www.census.gov/geo/www/cob/cc2000.html#e00. But they turned out to have very few citie's boundaries in the files...Best regards,
