I too experience
this with MI v6.5 so I would say that yes, indeed, it is a
bug.
I've tried with no
success to add the desired attribute to the workspace but no
luck:
Set Map Layer 12 Label Line Simple Pen (40,63,16711680)
I've tried adding
that line after the Set Window FrontWindow() preceding all the layer ordering,
also tried it on differnt ines around the Layer entry itself but again, no
luck.

When I add a label
line to any text in the layout, they change the style that I assign it when I
open it later. Is this a bug in MapInfo? Has anyone else come across this and if
you have solved this, could you please advice? It's annoying when I have a lot
of label lines in my layout and have to change the style for each
one.
