I would think your
tablet, regarless of its form factor, would be recognized by Windows as the
pointing device a digitizing tablet is basically.
So, if you install
this "roll-up digitizer" and Windows does recognize it (ie when you move
the stylus or puck around, your mouse cursor moves around) You're good to
go.
When in Mapinfo, the
stylus/puck will act just as your mouse does, but probably at a higher
resolution (that's what you want). To take advantage of your tablet further, tap
the letter "D" on the keyboard. This will tell MI to recognize the stylus/puck
as a digitizing tablet, thusly adding a new menu option to setup registration of
the active area of the tablet. But you only need this if you will be digizing
from a source laid over your tablet (ie a paper map).
