HI All,
i have an odbc text layer that i want my users to access. i have created a TAB file (linked) the the data on a common network drive. i can access this fine fine from my pc, but when i open it from another users pc (on which i have installed the same ODBC DSN) it fails. i have included the connect string below. what is of concern to me is that it inlcudes a WSID parameter which has my machine name. if i make this blank, it still opens from my pc but not others.
any ideas about this? is WSID requred only for Trusted connections?
