I have an error from
MapInfo I can't understand:
After installing
MapInfo 8.0 (danish) and the patch from MapInfo website I get the following
error upon starting MapInfo:
MapInfo
dialog:
"Can not access file
'Professional' for reading. Check that the file is not open in another
program"
(Translatted from
danish)
I tried to uninstall
MapInfo, restart the PC and install MapInfo plus patch again, only to get nearly
the same message from MapInfo:
"Can not access file 'Desktop' for reading. Check that the
file is not open in another program"
We have 40 other PC running with MapInfo and I have newer seen
this error before.
