Hi all,

I am having a trouble with map projection every time I open the file (workspace).  The map projection is stretched and a bit skewed (default Non-Earth projection).  It looks a bit like a bird’s eye view.  So I had to change a projection setting on Map Window.  This is what I did to correct that projection: -

Click ‘Map’ dropdown menu at the top of screen > Click on ‘Options…’ > ‘Map Options’ dialog box appears > Click on ‘Projection…’ button > ‘Choose Projection’ dialog box appears > Scroll down the list of ‘Category’ and click on ‘British Coordinate Systems’> Double click on ‘British National Grid’ from the list of ‘Category Members’ > OK

It works, but I had to do it again next time I open that file even I have saved it, which is annoying.  Any idea how to make it permanent, so I don’t have to change map projection setting again?

I’m using MapInfo Professional 8.0.

Many thanks in advance for your suggestion,
