I just stumpled upon this tonight.
We all know Wikepedia, "the free encyclopedia that anyone can edit."
But here is the map that we all can edit, or at least add places and descriptions to.
This site has been created by combining the ideas behing Wikepedia and Google Maps.
Quite an interesting site and an interesting idea.
