Following up previous emails, in regards to utilising MB to make layout
production more efficient, I have new problems.
You lot helped me create a dialog that the user could tap in names,
titles, etc and then a layout would be produced with current map window
and user-data as text objects. Wonderful, thanks again. Two problems:
My boss wants the date to be entered more professionally. At current,
the date is entered by tapping it in: 17/09/06 (Let me point out here,
I don't want it to automatically pop in todays date, as a lot of layouts
we draw are pre-dated or post-dated). So I was hoping that I could
perhaps have a better data entry - maybe three small entry boxes that
when you tap in the numbers, it moves from one window to another - so ud
only type 170906, and when it inserted it into the layout, it would fill
in the / bit. Or any other ideas on how to improve upon current method?
Here is the existing code:
----------
Title "Date"
Control EditText
Position 50, 50 width 38
Into s_date
----------
Create Text
"DATE: "+s_date
(4.8854,0.9854) (5.459,1.0653)
Font ("Arial",0,5,0)
-----------
Thanks in advance!
Si
