Hi all, I am attempting to copy an object along with one piece of data from one table into another table which has a completely different structure using mapbasic. For example I am wanting to copy an object from one table which has a field with say "Water point" in the row, it looks through the original table, finds all these and then puts them into a table of results. I then wish to put these into another table which has a different data structure. I am only copying over the object and one of the columns only. Of course the collum has a different name. I am have had some limited success with just coping over the objects. I am doing this in mapbasic, can anyone provide some suggestions. Regards, Boyd Townsend CSO NSW Rural Fire Service
