Keith;

INEGI has a web app that shows different layers of info one of them being
mines and other geological features.

Go to www.inegi.gob.mx
Then click on the link at the bottom of page that says "Mapa Digital de
México"
Once you see the map, on your left side you'll find a node that says
Geología
Inside this you'll find
Fallas, fracturas
Minas y otras ubicaciones geológicas (Mines and other Geological locations)
Roca

You'll also find the metadata for all the maps
Some of this data used to be downloadable, I'm not sure if they are
available still, if not please tell me I downloaded all these maps a while
ago.

Hope this helps

Asunto: [MI-L] Free Mexico Data

Users,
I am looking for free GIS data on Mexico, mainly major mines and topography.
Does anyone know of a good site that may contain this data? Bosses need a
Mexico map showing major mines.

Thanks,
Keith
