Have you tried to simply view the tables
together in a Map window, without combining or converting them? Spencer From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Al Hi, I have a number of tables in different UTM
projections. Here are specs from two tables MapInfo (which I extracted
from the message window after doing a print tableinfo(table,29)): CoordSys Earth Projection 8, 33, "m", -93, 0, 0.9996,
500000, 0 Bounds (-7745844.29605, -9997964.94315) (8745844.29605,
9997964.94315) CoordSys Earth Projection 8, 33, "m", -99, 0,
0.9996, 500000, 0 Bounds (-7745844.29605, -9997964.94315) (8745844.29605,
9997964.94315) I save the tables in a Conformal projection and append one
to the other, but when I view the combined tables, I can see that the objects
don’t look right. These tables have been supplied to me and now
I’m wondering if the projection specs of the source tables are somehow
wrong. (I have also tried converting them to Lat/long NAD83 and I get similarly
wrong results.) Basically, I have about 20 of these tables in various zones
that I need to combine into one table (that isn’t UTM). Any ideas? Thanks you! -Al |
