Hi Bruce,

The latest FME releases can load raster into Oracle Spatial.  We’d be pleased to work with you to prototype a workflow if you are interested in pursuing that angle – just let me know.

Good luck!

Subject: [MI-L]  Loading Raster data into Oracle Spatial

Hi listers.

We're currently loading all of our vector data into an Oracle 10g

Spatial Data Hub, using Easyloader - which does exactly what it says on

the tin.

BUT there is no support for raster data.  We have a large holding of

Ordnance Survey raster data, and Getmapping imagery, which we'd desire

to get on to the Hub.

Has anyone any experience of handling OS raster (or other) in an Oracle

Spatial environment, and is this the best method of storing this type of

data ?

Any help, comments, etc. would be gratefully received.

Bruce
