Hi Keith, Are you refering to reprojecting a map, i.e. changing the projection of layers in a map? If so, the only way to do this is to use File--Save Copy As and changing the projection in the save file dialog. This isn't a bug, but just the way things are done in MapInfo. I'm using MapInfo v7.8, and have used versions 6.0, 6.5, and 7.0 previously, and it has been the same in each version.
Mind you, I think it would be great if MapInfo could reproject on the fly. Is there a suggestion they might be doing this in 8.5? Currently in 7.5 I have to do a SaveAs to change projection because Map-Options-Projection fails to do so. > >Has this been fixed? > >Keith > _______________________________________________ MapInfo-L mailing list [email protected] http://www.directionsmag.com/mailman/listinfo/mapinfo-l
