Hello

I need some help with a MapBasic Script:

I have a table of point data which I am mapping on a UK base map, each
point has a text attribute attached to it.

I am then creating a layout for my map (including the point layer) at
1:3500000

I then want to put text objects (based upon the text attribute) onto
the layout to attribute the points
(I am not using labels in the map window due to printing issues)

If the point is at (369980,342604) on the map how can I calculate the
coordiantes that I need to place the text object at on the layout?

I am thinking I should be able to base a calcualtion of the layout
scale formula (frame widthxScale Req = map zoom req) but can't seem to
get it to work!

Help!
Thanks Andrew
