We are pleased to announce the release of a new version of ‘Grid
Translator Pro for MapInfo Vertical Mapper' !
This new version (1.5) has a full complement of exciting new features and
enhancements. Here is a list of just the some of the new features:
* Removed Vertical Mapper™ dependency: to run properly, Grid Translator
Pro does not requires any more Vertical Mapper™ to be installed. Only
MapInfo Professional is now required at minimum.
* Added 14 new formats that can be imported into MapInfo® Vertical
Mapper™ grids (including Planet and Aircom Asset formats)
* Added export functionality. MapInfo® Vertical Mapper™ grids can be now
exported to:
- Geotiff
- Erdas Imagine
- PCI Disk
* Enhanced batch translation:
- Added support to select multiple input datasets at once.
- Added support to select a projection once for multiple input datasets that
have no known projection.
- Added support to select georeference information once for multiple input
datasets that have no georeference.
- Added support to select data unit once for multiple numeric datasets that
have no data unit.
