How about a few more analytical features such as:

1) being able to easily identify repeat locations (without doing SQL),
2) aoristic time analysis
3) proper hot-spotting techniques (eg as used by Hot Spot Detective)
4) other spatial/statistics analysis techniques eg Morans I
