hoping someone can help with the following ……………..
I have a table containing the following columns ROADseg ( float ) BLANK
ROADNO ( CHAR,9 ) EG: 2569
SEGNO ( CHAR,9 ) EG: 10 (note some columns have 3 figures)
What I need to do is ……….. Update Column ( ROADSEG ) with ROADNO and SEGNO seperated by either an underscore or / or decimal point etc. Eg: 2569_10 or 2569/ 110 etc.
I can get the two columns into the new column but cannot get the seperator included …….Many thanks in advance …………..
