Hi ,

As far as I've observed UT uses memory for translation and then writes to
the disk,
so why it takes days..
Most of the program export's to DXF does not writing proper layer settings
and names so why mapinfo only sees layer "0"

I've wrote a mapbasic program that finds the layer names of DXF so that you
can open it in any word processor and add those layes
so MI sees the layers..

i can send this mapbasic who needs..
