I respectfully disagree.  This is true of "Corporate developers", but not
OEMs.

My point is you don't know if it's reasonable.  They don't give you any
indication of the range.  It's like the old joke in movies when a car breaks
down, and the guy says "How much is it going to cost to fix my car," and the
mechanic replies, "How much you got?"

My point more than anything was two fold:    1st - People using a tool to
create an application FOR Resale are very concerned with the price of the
tools; every % you give in royalty reduces your  marketing budget, profit,
etc.  2nd - You're going to be concerned about a company that gives you no
indication of what to expect.

FURTHER:

I am in no way suggesting that I think that Blue Marble is trying to be
sneaky, dishonest, or anything else.  I'm suggesting that this may cause
that type of perception.  This is just my opinion.  When looking at cars in
the past, etc, if no price is listed, I'm not interested.  Just 1 guy's
opinion.
