Some of those new utilities are WONDERFUL.
For instance: SelnUpd

Even I know that Arview has been able to field values from a picklist for
years! (That was one of the first things that struck me about the product
when I first tried it 4 years ago.)

SelnUpd was a little buggy for me, but extremely useful, nevertheless.

The author of ViewSelection was kind enough to provide both the MapBasic
code, and a little text file telling where the program lands: in the
Mapper menu. Oops, no, I read that wrong: in the Map Shortcut (right
click) menu. A lovely little utility that I asked MapInfo for years ago.

Stats seems to be a good start, but it doesn't seem to have much error
checking. And a little more documentation on how to use it would be
helpful.

Tab2HTML is wonderful also, though it would be nice if you could edit the
options in the ini file programmatically.

Thanks to user community for filling in "The features that MapInfo forgot"
