As far as I have been able to go, and that is not very far, one should
require also the bounds on the class limits, that can be gotten from the
shade command of then WOR taken for the thematic map. With limits and
styles, one would have to assign the new styles to each selection made with
class limits.
I have been asking first, then wishing next, finally dreaming of a simple MI
function that would "save" the results of a thematic classification as a new
smallint "class" variable that could be used not only for restyling objects
but also to generate data for crosstable analysis for example. But...
...I do that in a worksheet, it is more efficient, and my dream is fading
fast
