I think that the MBR is computed on the nodes of the object, as is the
area. Because it is a "result", it seems quite logical that it cannot
be used as an input. It can be changed by a direct action on an editable
object, that's all for now in MI.
The required function would have to make an affine transformation on the
object to calculate the new node coordinates.
